IMPORTANT NOTE:

As of July 1, 2025, accessing UCLA Outlook emails now require the installation of Trellix (anti-virus) and Duo Desktop. Duo Desktop is separate to DUO MFA Push on mobile.

**If you are on a department provided computer, please send ARTSIT a ticket for installation assistance.

Using Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open the Microsoft Outlook application.

Enter your email address but only use “ UCLALogOn@ucla.edu “ instead of @arts.ucla.edu (photo above is of the Microsoft sign in page with the first half of the login censored followed by “ @ucla.edu “).

Click connect.

Enter your UCLA  LogOn username and password. (photo above of the UCLA Logon ID window)

Authorize DUO MFA. (photo above of the pending UCLA DUO Push Mobile screen. It reads: “Verify it’s you by approving the notification… Sent to” and then a censored phone number)

This window will pop up. Your Outlook account will be written at the top: “ @ucla.edu “ and your arts email will be listed below " @arts.ucla.edu "

Feel free to uncheck “Set up Outlook Mobile on my phone too” if you would like to set it up later.

Click Done

If you have already used your UCLA email on another device, Outlook may take a while to load all your emails. Be patient and wait for it to complete loading.

Accept the license agreement.

Your inbox will open.
